April 2026

Shops now have much clearer identity, more ways to shape their offers over time and trigger rerolls. The overall NARNOK economy has been tuned to build more slowly and consistently. This release also folds in a follow-up pass on Booster payoffs, stacked home-node floor bonuses, and controller-friendly focus/navigation.

Shops And Offers

The new shop sites are Hoffer, Lottahoffa, and Buuk.

Hoffer adds more item offers to your shops after battle. Lottahoffa is the bigger shop-offer upgrade path, and Buuk refreshes shop offers when consumed.

The old shop variants like Small Shop, Medium Shop, Large Shop, and Node Shop were removed. If you own multiple shops, the shop panel can now cycle between them directly instead of pushing you back out to the map first.

New Cards And Ability Reworks

Several abilities were reworked across the patch, including new freeze, activation, spawn-resource, steal-on-resource-spawn, and shop-adjacent interactions.

Retunes and redesigns also landed across cards like Faloovian, Poiplexo, Hoid, Tyrands, Ussingorstergramme, Ditu, Prumm, Zergo, Hausguid, and Glizzard. Ability text and battle indicators were also updated so more allied, directional, and trigger-based effects read clearly at a glance.

New Sites

The new Loopa-family sites are NARAloopa, NOKAloopa, and NARNOKaloopa.

Loopa-family rewards now grant matching resource cards like NARloopa and NOKloopa.

NARtex and NOKtex are cheaper, unsellable, and no longer consume site slots, and NARNOKTex adds a zero-slot hybrid neutral-economy option.

Balance Changes

  • NARNOK is no longer drained between cycles.

  • Neutral drain now starts later, drains more gently at first, and enforces minimum drain amounts so long fights keep moving without crushing the opener

  • Unsellable sites now auto-carry between cycles without spending keep slots.

  • Multiple NAR and NOK floor bonuses from home nodes now stack by adding together.

  • Selling a Booster now permanently buffs your leftmost play-area card based on that Booster's variant.

  • Shop and site economy got a broader tuning pass so offer-focused routes have more room to scale

UI And Feedback

  • Menus, modals, and controller-focused UI flows now keep a much clearer default focus outline while navigating by keyboard or gamepad

  • Journey map navigation and zoom now have dedicated rebindable actions, with WASD and D-pad defaults alongside the existing controls

  • Battle card indicators now surface more allied, directional, and trigger-based ability behavior

  • Opponent previews now surface enemy resource economy more clearly before you commit

  • Battle summary capsules now pair NAR and NOK gains in a single chip instead of splitting them across multiple pills

  • Battles now include the new pillar wall presentation

  • Added SFX for site + shop purchases

  • The client now handles update-required prompts more reliably when a breaking version changes

Bug Fixes

  • Consume actions now correctly reject unsellable sites like boundary-locked wormholes
