Narik Chess changes
Four In A Row Chess is now added as a playable variant. As for all variants, it is combinable with the other modes of play.
Piece Placement You may only place a Four In A Row piece on a file where your opponent’s back-rank square is empty. White may drop a piece into the a-file only if a8 is empty. Black may drop a piece into the a-file only if a1 is empty.
Gravity Dropped pieces fall down the file until they hit another piece or the bottom of the board. Four In A Row pieces are affected by gravity. If they are no longer resting on another piece or the bottom of the board, they fall. Example: If a White Four In A Row piece is on a5 and a White rook is on a4, then moving the rook away causes the Four In A Row piece to fall.
Captures You may capture your opponent’s Four In A Row pieces.
Win Condition You win by connecting four Four In A Row pieces horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
Priority
When two Four In A Row pieces would fall into the same square, the moving player's pieces take priority.
