Narik Chess changes
Alice chess is now added as a playable variant. As for all variants, it is combinable with the other modes of play.
Pieces exist in one of two dimensions
Pink pieces indicate the shifted Alice dimension
Normal-looking pieces are in the regular dimension
After a piece makes any chess move, it immediately shifts to the other dimension
A piece may only capture pieces in its current dimension.
After capturing, it still shifts to the other dimension
Pieces only block movement within their own dimension.
A rook, bishop, or queen can move “through” pieces in the other dimension
A move is only legal if the destination square is empty in the dimension the piece shifts into after moving
