Mythic Kart Maker changes
In one week, Kart Maker already has it's first content update (totally not a humble brag). I also addressed some issues that people had with the first build, as well as making some things much simpler. Check the full list below.
Updates:
Added - Desert Theme
3 Desert Rocks
Desert Tree
Desert Bush
Cactus (spiky!)
Succulent (with flowers)
Desert Shrub
Added - 6 new official tracks to conquer
Added - Item pickups as a place-able object
If you don't place them, they will still be automatically placed.
Improved - Custom characters are now randomly loaded into missions
Improved - Ground tiles now randomize (which makes them look less repetitive)
Improved - Winning higher tier difficulty trophies unlocks lower tier trophies
Improved - Tall hills now act as walls
Improved - HUD sizing in multiplayer
Improved - Loading custom music is much easier (it now uses the system file explorer)
Improved - All objects now have slight shading based on direction
Improved - Terrain lighting
Improved - Physics (ledges & ramps)
Improved - Press "Custom Music" on the maker menu
Brings up the system file explorer to select your file
Changed - Default texture filter is now unfiltered (raw pixels)
Fixed - Terrain shading not being loaded (after saving & loading a map)
Fixed - FPS option not saving after restart
Fixed - Custom Racers being displayed as "Custom[number]" in battle mode
Fixed - Tons of bug fixes (especially for crashes that the community found)
