  2. Expensive bone-like chain calculations skipped when zoomed out

  3. Thread shadows now drawn with one fast shader pass instead of looping over every segment

  4. Structure-on-node checks use a simple yes/no list instead of a hash table

  5. Decay edge segments scale with zoom
