First of all, I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! π
Before I tell you what is new in this patch, I would like to thank you all for your continued support, especially in our Official Discord Server. This month hasn't been easy and I've unfortunately slowed down the development of the game, but not on purpose or because I'm bored with development. As some of you already know, I've been developing this game on my own, and it's not even my day job. I'm currently a teacher at two universities at the same time and since the semester is ending, I had a lot of exams and works to grade...
Today, I'm bringing you character customization! At the moment there are only a few items available, but I want to expand this in the future to be able to fully customize not only your character's clothes, but also your staff with some fancy stuff. With this, I'm also introducing some companion pets that will follow you around the store π.
Currently I'm also working on the next update that brings:
Ability to customize the price of products.
Delivery service where you will have to pack some products and hand them over to the delivery driver.
Warehouse services where you will be able to set some minimum threshold product quantities and those will be ordered automatically.
New Features/Improvements
Steam post image General Updates
(Super Experimental) Increased the maximum number of players to 8!
Engine version has been updated. This should fix some crashes.
Redesigned main menu with new interface.
When hiring a security guard, no money is paid immediately. The cost is deducted when the hour expires or the service is cancelled.
Tablet Wardrobe application has been reworked to match the new customization settings.
New Christmas category added to Furniture application.
Furniture categories are now organized correctly. Seasonal categories such as Halloween and Christmas are the last.
Both main menu and game screen have been adapted for this holiday seasonπ.
Employees now have a proper hat to get in the spirit.
Delivery guy will now first search for racks where the product is defined to be (by rack configuration) and is already there. If not found, he will search where the product is wanted and some slot of that storage rack is empty. Finally, if none of these conditions is met, it will randomly place the boxes if available, otherwise it will drop the boxes outside the store.

Reworked main menu with new interface.
Now there is a Continue button to quickly resume the last save.
Added new customization menu.
New direct links to update page, youtube and discord.
Character Customization
New character customization available! Unfortunately, had to remove two of the older character skins that have been available since the alpha of the game, but at least now you have the following categories to customize your character in a unique way:

More customization items will be added in the future!
Pets
Ever wanted a little companion pet to follow you around the store? Well, it's here!
Initial pets available:
Beaver
Carp
Crocodile
Kingfisher
Swan
More pets, interactions and features will be added in the future. Who knows if some pet related products will be coming in the future... π±
Fixed Issues
Fixed issue where some customers would get stuck around cloth racks.
Fixed issue where guard was not dismissed when canceling service.
Fixed issue where security guard was spawned even if store was closed.
Fixed issue where security guard service toggle was not being enabled when loading game.
Fixed issue where it was impossible to place items in the store entrance when a guard was spawned.
Fixed issue where booth products were not working properly when customers chose to interact.
Fixed issue where arcade machines did not interact when they should (memory leak).
Fixed issue where interaction buttons of some products (like noodles) were stretched.
