removedWe appreciate MuX Early Access users' commitment to the tool, and know you've want information about the project. Decochon as an entity dissolved after 2018, so now MuX is no longer supported or developed.
removedTo complete that process and avoid any ongoing uncertainty, we're removing MuX from the Steam Early Access program. You'll still be able to access the Community Hub if you wish.
addedBut while the journey of MuX is ending, the ideas continue. We still believe in the future of music creation and expression in VR and XR, thanks in no small part to you and what you put into MuX. With that in mind, we've assembled a new team with broader and deeper experience in engineering and support. We are expanding our vision, adapting to new, more capable immersive platforms and expanding tools both for advanced authoring and new ways of experiencing music as fans and people new to music and VR.
addedThe new team is PatchXR, which is creating both a Patch Authoring Tool and a platform called PatchWorld to explore immersive musical experiences.
addedAll MuX users will receive priority, free access to the beta. You'll be the first to get to use the stable, expressive, documented in-development version we're releasing in this quarter of 2021 (Q2). We think we can deliver on your Early Access investment better with this new tool, and we're making that transition free of cost.
addedWe also have a community for your feedback, questions, and work in these new tools, and to stay connected with one another, on Discord: https://discord.gg/2TgNDAyrMn

MuX Early Access is discontinued; free transition to PatchXR

We appreciate MuX Early Access users' commitment to the tool, and know you've want information about the project. Decochon as an entity dissolved after 2018, so now MuX is no longer supported or developed.

To complete that process and avoid any ongoing uncertainty, we're removing MuX from the Steam Early Access program. You'll still be able to access the Community Hub if you wish.

The new team is PatchXR, which is creating both a Patch Authoring Tool and a platform called PatchWorld to explore immersive musical experiences.
