Repeated intro
Hey all, We've done a big overhaul of the game, so this update includes some major changes along with bug fixes and polishing. Would love to know what you think! We're already working on a few more bug fixes and polish for the next update.

Important: Since there are a lot of big changes, your old save file might cause some problems. I suggest deleting your old save file via the Options menu to avoid any issues.
Game Structure & Progression
Revamped Game Progression: We replaced the old Objectives-based structure with a vertical progression to make it clearer how to progress.
Islands Update: We replaced the old large maps with smaller focused areas.
Gameplay Changes
Reworked Munch Mechanic: Instead of devouring countless small spheres, you now consume a single, big chunk of food as a reward. It’s faster and far less tedious.
New Progression Indicators: During loading screens, you’ll now see your run progression, highlighting which evolutions you’ve yet to try and how far along you are.
Knockback added: Smaller enemies now get launched by your heavy blows.
- Improved Player FeedbackNew visual effects for taking damage and receiving altered states have been added.
- UI OverhaulEvery interface has been redesigned and polished to meet a higher quality standard. Updated sections include the HUB, Pause Menu, Loading Screen, Main Menu, and the new Map Screen.
Limb Upgrades Rework: This underused mechanic has been revised. Each evolution now leads to secondary effects tied to abilities, adding depth to your build choices.
Full Game Rebalance: Some trait and enhancement combinations previously resulted in overpowered builds capable of one-shotting everything. We've fine-tuned values to make planning and different builds more rewarding.
Simplified Healing: Healing Orbs are now automatically absorbed by the player.
Bug Fixes
Tentacles are now visible again.
Lava puddles no longer permanently slow the player.
Fixed the Reroll enhancement: it now allows a limited number of rerolls per run.
Fixed the Sacrificial Lamb enhancement: headbangers now reach and damage all enemies as intended.
Key rebinding in the Options menu now works properly.
The player no longer gets permanently frozen after devouring something.
Painkiller should no longer gets stuck when performing its initial abilities.
Thug enemies' counterattacks now trigger correctly.
Dialogues now fully display during first-time interactions instead of being skipped.
Bugs related to consuming food and Healing Orbs have been resolved as part of the rework.
Evolutions no longer result in the wrong creature.
Secondary objective bugs have been addressed and fixed as part of the rework.
Bestiary models are now fully visible.
Nekrab's healing ability now plays the correct animation.
Enemies no longer spawn underground.
