Mr. Sleepy Man changes
Got a pretty sizable update for y'all. Some QOL features and a whole lot of bug fixes. Thanks to everyone in the community for helping out and submitting bug fixes. You're all helping me make this game even better! More to come next week! Activating the Cranium Clonk (Ground Pound) now requires you to hold the jump button for 1/4 of a second.
Updated description for Sabotage Papa Bear
Overhaul for Now That’s a Spicy Meatball. Added a sign that clarifies what you’re supposed to do and removed the floating notes to avoid confusion about this being a “song tutorial” section.
You can now skip dialogue to the end of a line for idle dialogues. (This does not apply for standard cutscenes where the camera is moving).
Music video for Playing in the Past added to TVs in credits sequence.
Bugs and Fixes
Fixed a bug where hit stun would be cancelled when leaving the ragdoll state or after being consecutively damage cancelled.
This same bug was causing scenarios where you would get stuck in a grab state. I fixed the root issue + added a failsafe.
Fixed a bug where the checkpoint in Nowhere Land made you sleep in the bed, causing a softlock.
Tony Pizza will not stay awake when making a pizza, preventing quest confusion when trying to make the pizza.
Fixed a bug where Pizza enemies would still chase you while sleeping after they respawn. I believe this also applies to Muncher enemies.
Fixed a bug where Papa Bear would talk to you while you were in another dialogue.
Fixed a bug where the hammer animation would stick after jumping and swinging the hammer at the same time.
Fixed bug where Music stops on Broken Home platforming when entering a TV.
Fixed Checkpoint reset error on Broken Home platforming.
Fixed where skipping the initial cutscene on Broken Home platforming has camera turned around
Fixed bug where rock wouldn’t respawn in Broken Home platforming.
Pulled out the wall to the right of Big Kitty in Spooky Dook Woods to prevent uncomfortable camera angles when sneaking to dig for the box of cereal.
Removed the glowing particle effect after you win the dig mini game to prevent confusion since the minigame is no longer interactable after you win.
Fixed a bug where you couldn’t prompt The Ballad of Broken Dreams when holding an item in Bedtime Town.
Adjusted a couple entrances in Spooky Dook Maze so that it starts with the camera centered behind the player, instead of in front.
Added an escape route via sand shortcut launcher in the sewers if you enter after beating Smash Mouse and having him escape into Bedtime Town.
Chord chart for Nowhere Land fixed. (The system that allows you to play along to the music with the Strings of Slumber)
