It's been a week and the release has been amazing! The outpouring of positive reception has far exceeded my expectations. It's been such a rewarding release, and it's not been without plenty of requests for quality of life changes, and that's what this is for!

Easily the biggest change here is I've double the inventory at shops, so feel free to shop to your heart's content and even buy two artifacts if you can afford it. I've also lowered the movement on many characters, to encourage more thoughtful exploration, and enemies will now properly attack before moving, to prevent the ai from sometimes moving and doing nothing.

The rest is all bug fixes, or many many quality of life features. Hotkeys always existed in the game, but should now hopefully be clearer, so it's easier to move quicker. Resolution changing is now supported, in a limited fashion, certain aspects of this game do not like moving past 16:9 ratio.

Moving into the future, I'm excited to take a small break, but I'm constantly monitoring the community to make sure no deadly bugs persist, hopefully I have squashed the majority of them.

  • Enemies will now consider attacking before moving

UI

  • Clarified replace teammates button to "Replace Fallen Teammates"

  • Fixed info toolbox to not hover directly over the object being looked at.

  • Hotkeys for Attack, Move, and Special are now displayed on the buttons themselves.

  • Added hotkeys to cycle between units using the 1-4 keys

  • Option to change Screen resolution now available in options

  • Changing resolution in windowed mode is now available! (Let me know if this leads to any ugly setups, I spent forever trying to prevent that.)

Glitches

  • Fixed instances where certain sound effects weren't affected by volume sliders

  • Game now remembers your preference for fullscreen or windowed.

  • Some Spawns led to Statues becoming inaccessible

  • Wooden Sword now gives the proper ability instead of the Holy Shield ability
