Yes, it's still alive.

This is a bug-fix for an old->new game save which - in more professional hands, or even professional flippers - would be labelled a 'Hotfix'. However, I am British, and while it is, indeed, a 'fix' it is in no way 'hot'.

It doesn't leer at me across the restaurant table wearing mere whispers of diaphanous chiffon, eyes kohl rimmed pits of mystery and excitement. Nor does it whisper strange, flirtatious words into my ear in a crowded lift while standing just a little too close for decency.

No. This is the sort of fix that shuffles into the room dressed in a baggy sweater, eyes glued to the floor, mumbling something barely audible about 'save games' and 'incompatibility issues', only to make a hasty exit, leaving you wondering silently at the subtle loveliness of the face you glimpsed beneath the torrents of unkempt hair that your fingers now long to comb through.
