changedTired of wonky Enemy highlights that sometimes lag behind the monster model? Well, tire no longer, all highlights have been completely redone to be far more visually appealing and consistent, as well as reduce the GPU overhead significantly! This update also increases lightmap resolution significantly. What that means for you: a slightly larger game file (200-300MB more) but far less "grid" lighting which was never intended. Each level should have a more consistent, seamless look than previously. Further, the occlusion "shimmering" effect you sometimes see when rounding a corner has been significantly reduced. It cannot be removed altogether (unless occlusion culling is disabled altogether which costs an extra 10-15 fps so I don't believe it's wise) but it should be far less noticeable now.

Every element of the UI has been updated and improved, both in functionality and style!

All buttons, backgrounds, fonts, item icons, ability icons, descriptions, boxes, borders, layouts... everything! Inventory items and equipment have been significantly upgraded:

Ability icons now give you much more information at a glance- the border color tells you what type of ability it is (attack/buff/heal/utility), the crosshair and melee icons are much more visible, and the description will tell you if there are any other restrictions, as well as your current MP charge and whether using it will take you above your maximum!

The enemy name and health is in a new spot in the HUD, with much a much nicer looking animated bar! Plus, much clearer and neater turn order icons, better combat log, and truncated gold counter!

Plus, entirely redone menus with interactive elements like the Music Room (accessible from the main menu) and game over screen (accessible when you die!):

Freezing the sea within the Kraken's lair will now reveal a new, icy cave in Albright Outpost, an entrance to a new dungeon- the Ancient Snowdrift!

Brave the freezing cold temperatures and you'll find a Sigil Keeper- one of four new optional bosses hidden throughout the world. Defeating them will grant you unique brand new abilities and passive powers! Try and find all four!
