Patch Notes 0.4.2

New

  • Added a language pack feature that allows custom translations to be added.

  • Added hotkeys to quickly switch hotbar items by shifting inventory rows. (Keyboard: R/F, Controller: D-pad ↑↓)

  • Added buff effects to several foods.

  • Added several new dishes and ingredients to Mystery Box rewards.

Improvements

  • Nearby guests now automatically perform available actions while the player is working. (Example: lumberjack-type guests will chop nearby trees while you are mining.)

  • Trees now become semi-transparent when the player is behind them.

  • Crafting and cooking can now use items stored in chests. Furnaces can also use coal stored in chests.

  • When dragging walls to build rectangles, only the outer edges are now constructed.

  • Walls can now be demolished even if objects are overlapping them.

  • Added the ability to cancel construction/placement mode with the controller B button.

  • Added a tutorial prompt when the player needs to talk to the first guest.

  • Players now automatically move to a safe position if stuck inside walls or furniture.

  • Improved the screen shake effect.

  • Important items such as tools and workbenches will now be returned to the mailbox the next day if dropped on the ground.

  • Added additional tutorials and guidance messages.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where character body parts were not visible.

  • Fixed an issue where removing equipment did not update the character’s appearance.

  • Fixed an issue where only part of clustered rocks were damaged by whirlwind attacks.

Optimization

  • Reduced loading times when changing levels.

  • Improved performance when many guests wake up at the same time.

  • Reduced lag during first-time conversations.

  • Improved performance in various other situations.
