Repeated intro

Hello Monster Slayers! Thanks so much for the warm reception to the return of Monster Slayers. I have uploaded a small update (v1.5.3) that fixes several issues (some long-standing):

changedLEVEL SAVE SYSTEM: Previously, there was a serious bug that can happen due to how the level is saved between plays. If you exit an encounter, the level save sequence is triggered before you resolve it, so it was possible to get stuck with no way forward, or end up with 3 companions. I have fixed the level save logic to perform as expected now.
addedFULLSCREEN TOGGLE CRASH: I have added additional checks for texture surfaces when toggling between fullscreen and windowed mode, so it should happen smoothly now without crashing.
changedCARDS REBALANCE: Many of the older cards gained additional AP costs when they were upgraded (which makes it a worse card in some cases), but I have rebalanced it so that they retain the original AP cost. Accordingly, the sources of AP gains have been scaled back slightly to compensate. The standard "Improvise" card has also been rebalanced to no longer have a card draw option, but instead gain a strengthened Block/Attack value. Barbarian cards were pretty bad in general, and their costs have been dialed back to make them competitive again.
fixedDRAGON UPGRADES: The Dragon upgrades (+10 HP & extra Armor) were not functioning properly, and this has been fixed.
addedDo let me know in the comments or technical issues thread if you come across anything else that needs fixing! Wishing all of you a very happy Monster Slaying ahead. P/S I've collected all my current and upcoming games in a brand new Steam Developer page. If you have some time, do give it a follow!
