addedGreat news! Monster Slayers is back!!! After a long discussion with the publisher, we came to an amicable agreement to transfer all of Nerdook's older games back to me, so they are now fully under my control again (on Steam, at least). To celebrate, I have uploaded a NEW UPDATE for Monster Slayers (v1.5.2):
addedPorted the game to GameMaker Studio 2, bringing performance improvements across the board with a new engine
changedBrand new hand-drawn sprites (in the classic Nerdook style) for many of the monsters and characters that were previously using an asset pack
changedQoL Improvement: Inventory boxes rearranged in the interface
changedOther bug fixes and QoL improvements!
changedNow that the games are under my control, look forward to more frequent updates for Nerdook games. I hope you'll continue to have fun slaying Monsters after all these years! P/S: In case you're wondering what else I'm working on right now, check out Cyberpunk Inquisitor, a procedural murder mystery. Do wishlist it if it sounds interesting, it really helps a lot!
