Monster Knockout changes
Monster Knockout Workshop Uploader — Rework
New:
Locked Preview Image Folder
Added a dedicated Preview Image folder for thumbnails:
[c]C:\\Users\\ \\AppData\\LocalLow\\SpotPixle Studios\\Monster Knockout Workshop Uploader\\Preview Image[/c]
The preview image selector is now locked to this location (so thumbnails must be chosen from that folder).
Thumbnail Requirements (Enforced)
Workshop preview images are now validated and must be:
640×360 (exactly)
PNG or JPG/JPEG only
Under 1MB
The uploader will show clear errors if your image doesn’t match the rules.
Selective Updates (Update Only What You Want)
Updating an existing Workshop item no longer forces you to re-upload everything.
Update mode now includes toggles so you can choose what to update:
Title
Description
Content (JSON)
Preview Image
Tags
Visibility
If Content/Preview are not enabled, the uploader won’t re-upload them.
Optional “No-Navigation” Preview Selector (Dropdown Mode)
If enabled in the UI, the uploader can show a dropdown list of valid thumbnails found inside the Preview Image folder.
The dropdown only lists images that already pass the rules (640×360 PNG/JPG), preventing invalid picks.
Added convenience buttons (if hooked up in UI):
Open Preview Folder
Refresh Preview List
Display the current preview folder path in the UI
Improvements
Safer Update Mode behaviour
If you turn off Content/Preview updates, the uploader clears any selected file so you don’t accidentally re-upload it.
Fields and controls become interactable/non-interactable based on what you’ve chosen to update.
Improved upload staging
Content staging is only created when Content is being updated.
Optional setting to stage the preview image inside the content folder (useful for certain Workshop setups).
More reliable Workshop operations
Automatic retries for Steam “Busy” responses during Create/Submit.
Workshop legal agreement prompt opens automatically if Steam requires it.
