Thanks as always for your bug reports and sorry for the bugs, it is unfortunately part of the process with early access. As a solo team there is only so much testing that can be done on one or two machines.

We have pushed a hotfix with some important crash and gamebreaking bug fixes.

It is advised to either die once in the dungeon to reset your deck or to start a new save to avoid leftover issues.

  • (Hopefully) Fixed "TypeError Cannot read property 'makeTargets' of undefined" Crash that was triggered when dying to a status effect card

  • (Hopefully) Fixed issues related to not being able to save again after loading a saved game.

  • (Hopefully) Fixed Crashes "Cannot read property 'name' of null" on load of save and "Null property error named ''" when entering combat.

  • Added a new and improved card data and player data handling system, which hopefully prevents issues with json and other game data becoming corrupted, leading to the above crashes. It is now checked and converted whenever the game is started or loaded.

  • Fixed "cannot read property, "performCardAction' of Null" crash caused when casting Spellstorm. Added extra checks to make sure at least 3 spells have been cast before allowing use.

  • Fixed some Arcane cycle effects not being applied correctly.

  • Fixed the rewards UI sometimes not triggering correctly after battles. Especially on old saves.

  • Fixed a bug that added the wrong card or multiple invalid cards when choosing a card from the rewards UI after battles.

  • Fixed the Library, Removal and Upgrade UI only showing one of each card, even if you have multiple copies.

  • Fixed Fireball always dealing 8 damage regardless of active states.

  • Fixed Frostfire Nova repeating 3 times.

  • Fixed Parasite Girl text getting stuck on screen if you say no to her after talking.

  • Fixed gold not being refunded if you cancel removing a card after paying at the church.

  • Fixed some enemy attacks not triggering counterstance correctly.

  • Fixed some enemy attacks ignoring the player's shields.

  • Fixed Parasite Attacks and effects being too powerful.

  • Fixed Parasite drain taking too much HP, reduced to 15HP.

  • Fixed some enemy and player attacks triggering twice when they shouldn't.

  • Added Arcane text to Frostfire Nova to clarify it is arcane type not fire type.

  • Updated status card text to clarify their effect triggers when THAT card is drawn, not when any card is drawn.

  • HP Drain attacks will now only heal the attacker for damage that actually got through the target's block.

  • Tweaked boss HP to be less impossible.
