This update was focused on the feedback received through the community hub and the ingame feedback form. Thanks a lot for all the players who took the time to share their experience and thoughts with me, it's helping a lot!
Units
The player can now give specific orders to their units by right clicking a target, the selected units will be assigned a mission accordingly: moving to a new destination, attacking a villain or initiating sex with another cultist. The units will ignore any enemies in their path until they complete their mission, and more generally they will never pursue an enemy, staying in position where the player want them. New visual effects were added to communicate better when the player try to give orders.
Villains
All the bad guys were reanimated to get rid of the old life-less free motion-capture assets, and the dog can finally run and bite properly. Villains have an aggressive stance mode to better tell the player when they detect and attack a unit. Now you can tell the difference between a peasant and a paladin, even when they're waiting (beside the golden armour).
Other changes
better pathfinding to avoid getting stuck in corners
wave counter on the user interface
fixed selection group being deleted on pause
option to disable screen effects
levels are now locked for more linear progression
added difficulty indicator on the user interface
added stats on the map once a level is completed
added a button to focus camera on the selection
I hope it'll improve your experience a lot, it's just a start I have a ton of work waiting! And I pray all the demons in the game I didn't break anything in this new udpate (I did many times when working on Daggan).
Have fun, Malerouille
EDIT: Apparently I published an error, thankfully it's very visible and in plain sight when playing. Nothing game breaking, just a lot of shame in my face. I'll fix it in a few hours so it'll be a valuable lesson for me.
