Mob Factory changes
A major update to the demo is now available on Steam
If you've been following on the Itch.io page or the Discord, we had been releasing updates before up until May on the itch page as a Beta. For the Steam Strategy Fest, we released a big update to give you all something new to chew on. The current Steam page shows some of the new content and art.
Major changes, since minor ones are too numerous to list:
The merchant (The cost of weapons scales exponentially)
Four new islands
A boss
Electricity
An inventory
New weapons
Custom music by SO87
Save/load
New utility buildings like the tunneler
Colorization of the art!
A wizard (he has a big hat)
Lots of bugfixes and performance improvements
Crossing 30,000 wishlists
We want to give you all a huge thank you for your support - we're currently sitting at ~36,500 Steam wishlists. In no orbit of earth did we expect to have this many eyes on this project. When we launched the store page we were getting 3-4 wishlists a day, and only until the release of the demo did we think there was going to be any kind of interest. In February we then increased the scope by two or three times to meet the new expectations.
