Character Bust Images Added

Bust images have now been added for all characters who appear in the current demo content.

The dialogue window has been changed from displaying face images to displaying upper-body bust images instead.

From now on, all companions and NPCs who appear in the game will have their own unique portraits.

(Examples of companion character portraits)

Unique portraits have also been added for all enemies encountered in the field.

(Examples of field enemies encountered in the Prologue)

(Examples of Orenasian enemies encountered in Chapter 1)

(Examples of Dolls encountered in Chapter 1)

Since Mistworld features a large cast of characters, there was previously an issue where it could be difficult to remember where a character had appeared before unless you remembered their name based only on their face image.

From now on, every character and enemy will have their own individual bust image, making them easier to distinguish.

Dedicated images have also been added for certain events.

Testing has been completed up to the early portion of Chapter 2 for the newly added bust images. However, there may still be parts in today’s updated demo version that have not yet been fully checked. I will continue testing carefully to make sure there are no sections where the changes have not been properly applied.

I would also like to note that generative AI assistance was used during the creation process for the images above.

Below are examples of the production process.

Existing 3D models originally created for character sprite production were used as reference sources, or were modified as part of the process. (The original sprite models used as references were commercially licensed assets purchased from PV Games.)

(This is the original model used for Le Verrier’s sprite production.)

(This final result was produced using AI assistance based on that model.)

(Original golem model above, final result modified with AI assistance below)

(Original wolf model above, final result modified with AI assistance below)

In this way, the portrait images for each character were created based on the original models used for the sprites.

\\

Thank you.
