Over the past month, the February development log was delayed due to several overlapping circumstances, including moving and reorganizing my office, participating in Stove’s Indie Boost Lab program, and attending the funeral of a respected mentor.

The office reorganization has now been completed, and I am currently focusing on development.

Although several demo updates were made throughout February without an accompanying development log, I would like to share the updates and development progress that were not previously documented.

Participation in Stove Indie Boost Lab (Feb 11, 2026 ~ Feb 24, 2026)

By participating in Stove’s Indie Boost Lab, I had the opportunity to gather direct feedback from players on the latest version of the game. Many users provided valuable feedback.

I am currently in the process of compiling the collected reviews and survey data. The results of the Stove event will be shared with Stove in the first week of March.

Thank you.

Demo Updates

Several demo updates were made throughout February, including the addition of the new Modifier feature.

Most of these updates focused on fixing minor bugs, but new content and additional enemy encounters were also added to the prologue.

Upcoming Update Plans

3-1. Incorporating Feedback

Through the Stove Indie Boost Lab, a significant amount of feedback regarding UI/UX improvements was received.

Additional feedback included suggestions for improving presentation and clarifying elements that may be confusing to players.

Some requests—such as mouse support—that could be implemented quickly have already been applied.

Various improvements, including presentation enhancements and a broader UI overhaul, are planned. However, since this will involve restructuring the core menu system, it will require both planning and testing, and may take some time before it is implemented in the demo.

Currently, I am considering a grid-based inventory system similar to that seen in Diablo, though the exact implementation remains undecided.

3-2. Item Image Overhaul (In Progress)

Weapon and armor illustrations within the game are currently being revised.

These illustrations were either created by the developer or acquired from multiple artists. However, as assets were sourced from different artists, inconsistencies in visual style have arisen.

To address this, I am currently working on unifying the visual tone of all weapon and armor illustrations toward a more realistic style.

AI tools are being utilized in this process. However, this does not involve generating entirely new images through generative AI. Instead, AI is being used to adjust and unify the visual style of assets originally purchased from artists.

All licenses for the base assets were obtained through proper financial compensation to the respective artists, and a list of these assets can be found in the game’s credits.

The image replacement process is still ongoing, and the demo will be updated once all revisions are complete.

3-3. English Localization (In Progress)

The English localization process is currently in the testing phase.

Most UI elements, image files, and dialogue text are translating correctly; however, due to the sheer volume of text requiring translation, completion may take some time.

Thank you.
