Development Notes – Week 3 of January 2026: Demo Update
Hello, this is Project Mist.
At the moment, there is an issue with uploading builds to the Steam page. As a result, no new Steam demo build has been uploaded since January 17.
The demo file will be updated immediately once this issue is resolved. In the meantime, the update details are posted below.

Demo Update and Changes
Added Bulk Sale for Lowest-Tier Equipment
It is now possible to sell lowest-tier equipment in bulk at shops.
During the prologue, players frequently explore cities and residential areas, and as a result, they often acquire a large number of equipment items—such as clothing—from wardrobes and drawers inside houses.
This was intentional, as these objects were meant to emphasize interaction rather than serving purely as background decoration.
However, the issue was that these clothing items accumulated excessively in the player’s inventory as the game progressed.
While players can equip useful items and sell the rest at shops, selling them one by one became a tedious process due to the sheer quantity.
From now on, merchants will automatically buy lowest-tier equipment in bulk. The total price when selling in bulk is identical to selling the items individually.
Added Equipment Exchange System for Higher-Tier Gear
A new menu has been added that allows players to exchange certain equipment items with merchants in return for higher-tier gear.
The required items for exchange must be at least Advanced-tier equipment.
For example:
Two Advanced-tier items can be exchanged for one Rare-tier item.
Two Rare-tier items plus a sum of gold can be exchanged for one Hero-tier item.
Not all weapon types are eligible for exchange.
Going forward, multiple NPCs who offer equipment exchanges will appear, and each NPC will provide different exchange options.
In the prologue, some of the required equipment can be purchased directly from merchants, or obtained somewhere within the city of Falldorn, where the Mist incident has occurred.
Counterattack System Improvements
When a counterattack is triggered, the damage dealt to enemies has been significantly increased from 100% of physical attack power to 140%.
Additionally, skills that visually fire projectiles (such as arrows) are no longer subject to counterattacks.
For ranged enemy units, the chance of triggering a counterattack when they attack has been reduced by half.
