Repeated intro
Hello, everyone! We have just uploaded the first update for Mistwinter Bay where we have fixed a few bugs, done some balancing and added some things, including an Easy Mode! We thought it would take longer to get things done, so we're pleased to get it out so soon. Here's a more detailed list of what we've done:

Mistwinter Bay changes
Fixes
Fixed a crash when opening up the collection menu in the throne room at the start of a month Fixed a crash when receiving an item through an item popup that occurred when particles were turned off
Fixed a crash that occurred when attempting to start a new main event after completing Eria’s first personal quest in a particular way
Fixed an issue where there was an empty line of dialogue in the
Sasee’s letters
-event
Fixed a bug where you could click on the bridges when reputation popups were on screen
Made sure that buttons for single lots show up when sorting for buildings you can afford to build in the town view
Swapped the colors of the Skip/Don’t skip buttons to match the positions of the No/Yes buttons in messages
Changed the dialogue’s referral to coins from gold to coins in the following events:
Message in a bottle (short)
,
Imposter (long)
Fixed an issue where the date, time, etc would not update properly on permanent savefile-buttons after autosaving in the throne room at the start of a month
Saves which page you are on in the Load-menu when loading a game
Previously, the page was only saved when backing out of the menu
Balancing
Lowered the exchange rate when raising and lowering the guard presence from 50 to 25 gold per month, making it cheaper to have more guards
If you have a savefile with guard presence higher than Low, you should get 50 gold back when lowering it, even though the menu says 25. Likewise, if you raise it without going down to 0 first, it will still cost 50 gold
Lowered the price of gifts. They are now 30, 70, 110, 150 for positive gifts and 20, 50 for negative gifts
We might adjust the prices again at a later date based on player feedback
Additions
The most recent savefile of either type (regular or permanent) now has star icons, to make it more visually clear which one was saved to most recently (so save scumming is now a bit easier!)
Added a base production of 5 wood and 5 stone for all new playthroughs
The amount has not be adjusted for playthroughs created before this update
By adding this base production, we figure that it will get easier to build in general, you won’t be completely screwed with resources if you make mistakes early on, and there will be more freedom in what to build and when. In other words, no more being forced to build the Lumber Camp or Stone Quarry first, or even being forced to have either of them in a playthrough!
Due to the new base production of wood and stone, all types of resources - including coins - now have “Base” as a source of income. Previously, Food was the only resource that had the “Base”-category
Added an “Easy Mode”
When playing on Easy Mode, you start out with a monthly production of 1500 food, 10 stone, 10 wood, 75 gold (of which 50 comes from the Inn) and 10 coins. The extra production is counted in the “Base”-income category
You also get a relationship boost with ALL characters, regardless of residential status, adding 15 reputation to each of them at the start of the game
Easy Mode can only be entered at the end of the character creation process. You can’t leave Easy Mode later in the game either
We want to give a sincere thank you to everyone who has played the game so far! We're very happy that you seem to enjoy it. It truly makes our efforts feel worth it. We wish you even more fun in the game with this update!
