Cashier Employee, Custom Walls, and More

In this devlog, we’re sharing a round of Quality of Life improvements that aim to make your experience in Mini Racer Car Shop Simulator smoother, more enjoyable, and easier to manage — especially as your store grows.

These updates focus on helping you spend less time on repetitive tasks and more time doing what matters: building powerful cars and winning events.

🧾 Cashier Employee

Once you reach a certain chapter in your progression, you’ll unlock the Cashier Employee. This feature lets an NPC handle all transactions at the cashier desk for you.

Now, instead of running back and forth between stocking and handling customers, you can focus fully on managing your car builds, upgrading parts, or preparing for upcoming events while your cashier keeps the store running.

Want to take over the cashier role yourself? No problem. You can easily switch roles by interacting with the employee at the counter: - Interact with an active cashier to set them to Idle - Interact again while idle to assign them back to the cashier role

This way, you can decide when you want to jump back in or let your employee handle it.

🎨 Wallpaper Decoration

Not satisfied with the default store walls? You can now personalize your shop by purchasing and applying custom wallpapers.

There various design that you can buy to change the look of your store walls and helps reflect your personality so make your shop feel more like yours.

🏷️ Rename Your Store

You now have the option to change your store’s name at any time. Just walk outside and interact with the nameplate above your store entrance to edit it.

Whether you want something funny, serious, or themed, your shop name is now yours to define.

🗑️ Indoor Trash Bin

Tired of running outside just to throw away empty boxes? We’ve added a Trash Bin inside the store, located near the spare parts inventory area.

Now it’s faster and more efficient to keep your workspace clean and organized.

🪧 Floating Info for New Items

To help with orientation, we’ve added floating labels above new equipment or racks when you purchase them. This makes it much easier to spot where new furniture or displays have appeared and prevents confusion about where to look or what to move.

These are just some of the highlights in our ongoing effort to polish and improve the game. We’re constantly working to make the experience more intuitive and player-friendly, especially as the store expands and new systems are introduced.
