Mimic Man changes
It's been a very busy year. (It's 1:08am and I should be asleep...day job meetings at 8am...nooooo) While Mimic Man is my true passion, it still must take a backseat to my day job. However, take solace in that this project will never be abandoned, as it can only be abandoned if I die. It's been 7 years on and off and it's in a state currently stronger than ever before. Time has already proven itself on the project!
Exciting news though: development on Mimic Man is ramping up again into what we can all only hope is it's final stages before a release! The framework I have in place has been proven to work so far, so I think content will start being added like crazy very soon.
Here are some random highlights as of late:
Mimic Man is now on Unreal Engine 5.3. (This project started on 4.14!!!)
The Tutorial is complete (it is not skippable) and only takes about 10-15 minutes to complete.
I have a new XLR Mic setup to accomplish a first pass on recording voice lines for all the characters
New voice lines will be added regularly! You'll already find lots of new voice lines in matches, out of matches, and during matches!
Lots of bug fixes.
