New Year Celebration and an Answer to “Where Are the Other Languages?”

Happy new year Milords and Miladies! Yes, this one is a bit late. Since Milord is developed entirely by me, I could only catch up now. Thank you sincerely for your patience and support as we entered the new year.

addedHappy new year Milords and Miladies! The main reason for this post is to clearly answer a question I have been seeing a lot lately: “Where are the other languages?” With the latest update, the core structure of the game was heavily changed. This was not just about adding content or balancing. The game’s systems and story flow were rebuilt from the ground up. As a result, the existing localization system unfortunately broke completely.
addedHappy new year Milords and Miladies! In the current state, re enabling localization before the story and main systems settle into a stable structure is extremely difficult. Everything is still changing, and doing translations before things are finalized does not really make sense. Because of this, I had to temporarily disable localization. For the same reason, I also disabled language support on the Steam page. This is not a cancellation. All 12 supported languages will be re enabled in the future.
changedHappy new year Milords and Miladies! To avoid making everyone wait with no option at all, I created a beta branch based on the first release version. This version contains less content, but it includes full localization for everything it has. If you want to play the game in all available languages right after purchase, you can switch to this version.
changedHappy new year Milords and Miladies!then under Beta Participation select V0.22.8 All Languages.

Happy new year Milords and Miladies!

This version contains less content, but it includes full localization for everything it has. If you want to play the game in all available languages right after purchase, you can switch to this version.

Right click the game in your Steam library and open Properties

go to the Betas tab

then under Beta Participation select V0.22.8 All Languages.

Here you go! While I rebuild the localization system for the current version, this beta branch will remain accessible. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

In the meantime, I pinned some FAQs and Early Access Status report in the Discussions. You can check out to them here:

Below, you can see me, the story writer I forcibly recruited from the InEv Games team, and my goats (and a sheep). He says if I do not finish the game, he will eat the goat…

For those who want to reach out; you can type me from steam discussions or from the Discord page. I'm constantly checking them and trying to answer all of the questions!

Thank you all for your support!
