Let's take a closer look at Aidan and the Inferno Faction today!

As mentioned in our World & Characters blogpost, Aidan Unicorn is the youngest sibling of the Unicorn Duchy. After finding a mysterious dagger, he finds himself able to control demons.

If you aren't familiar with Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes - Definitive Edition's combat, we strongly encourage you to read our Gameplay Introduction blogpost before reading any further.

Aidan's unique spell transforms every wall on the battlefield into fire balls which are then launched at the enemy. This spell can be quite helpful in catching enemies off-guard: even though it may appear you are adopting a defensive stance, you are actually building ammunition for a powerful attack!

These units have the fastest charging time (from one to three turns) but deal the lowest damage. Inferno Core Units are the following:

Horned Demons These units claw at the enemy after three turns. They are a straightforward unit with the most attack power out of all Inferno Core Units.

Imps These units lunge toward the enemy after three turns. If their attack hits an enemy attack formation, they will explode dealing splash damage.

Hell Hounds These units launch their attacks at the enemy after two turns, making them the fastest of the Inferno Core Units.

These units deal more damage than Core Units but take up more space on the battlefield, making them trickier to activate. Inferno Elite Units are the following:

Succubi These units fire four explosive blasts of hellfire after four turns. These blasts cover a large area, inflicting splash damage to surrounding units. An excellent unit to thin out enemy lines.

Nightmares These units lunge at the enemy after four turns. Their attack is weaker than the Succubi but all Nightmare formations will launch their attacks simultaneously, regardless of their remaining charge time.

Sorcerers These units launch dark magic at the enemy after three turns. Their attack is the weakest out of all Elite Units, but it can break apart any enemy formation it hits, turning it idle.

These units are undoubtedly the most important of your army as they deal the most damage over a large area. However, they are even larger than Elite Units and require more Core Units to activate their attack, which takes longer to charge as well. Inferno Champion Units are the following:

Abyssal Lords These units launch a devastating attack after five turns. During their charging time, they absorb some power from any fallen ally formations.

Pit Fiends These units a fiery attack after five turns, leaving behind the burning bodies of any defeated units.

Inferno walls have a base strength of 5 HP and burn enemy units that cross them for a short distance.

That's all for Aidan and the Inferno Faction! Stay tuned for more advanced gameplay tips in the future! Thank you for your interest in Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes - Definitive Edition!
