Let's take a closer look at Godric and the Haven Faction today!
As mentioned in our World & Characters blogpost, Godric Unicorn is a promising young Knight of the Holy Griffin Empire. He is the eldest son of the Unicorn Duchy.
If you aren't familiar with Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes - Definitive Edition's combat, we strongly encourage you to read our Gameplay Introduction blogpost before reading any further.
Godric's unique spell erects a defensive shield worth 50% of his HP at the bottom of the battlefield. This allows his HP bar to be protected for one turn. Afterward, the shield transforms into magic missiles that are launched at the enemy. This spell can get you out of near-death situations so use it wisely!
These units have the fastest charging time (from one to three turns) but deal the lowest damage. Haven Core Units are the following:
Swordsmen These units lunge toward the enemy with swords after three turns. They are the strongest out of all Haven Core Units, an all-around balanced unit that is easy to use and gives excellent results.
Spearmen These units thrust their spears at their enemy after three turns. Though they deal less damage than swordsmen, if they collide with an enemy with a lower PWR than them they will pass through them and eliminate them without losing any PWR! Excellent units to target the enemy’s HP bar directly.
Archers These units shoot arrows at the enemy after two turns. They are the fastest Haven Core Unit and are excellent at taking out Elite and Champion Units before they begin charging.
These units deal more damage than Core Units but take up more space on the battlefield, making them trickier to activate. Haven Elite Units are the following:
Knights These units charge toward the enemy on horseback after four turns. While charging they are protected from damage up to 50% of their max PWR. They deal the most damage out of all Haven Elite Units. This makes them ideal units to target the enemy hero’s HP directly as they will survive the frontlines easily.
Priestesses These units heal the hero’s HP continuously while they are charging their attack. They launch a powerful energy blast after four turns.
These units are undoubtedly the most important of your army as they deal the most damage over a large area. However, they are even larger than Elite Units and require more Core Units to activate their attack, which takes longer to charge as well. Haven Champion Units are the following:
Angels They will heal your units as they are charging their attack. They also fire a powerful blast of holy light after six turns, incinerating two columns of enemies
Griffins These units fly toward the enemy after five turns. If they encounter a strong enemy or reach the enemy’s HP bar, they will do a dive attack that is equal to 2 times their current PWR.
Sword Masters At the start of each turn, these gigantic Knights will slam their sword to the ground, creating powerful shockwaves as they charge their attack. After six turns, they will unleash a wave of giant blades thrusting from the earth.
Haven walls have no special ability but they have the highest base HP out of all factions!
