Welcome hunters,

The once-great Tokyo Bay area has been overrun by giant zoomorphic machines known as SoNS. The entire area has been reduced to a wasteland now commonly referred to as Dystokio.

Created by the evil AI, NOA, the SoNS will stop at nothing until they have rid the world of humans. Some of these machines have gained legendary status due to their advanced weaponry and the devastation they've wrought on humanity.

The most notorious of these SoNS have had a hefty bounty placed on their heads to entice brave (or foolhardy) hunters.

A Fearsome Reputation

As you progress through the wastes, the members of Iron Base will alert you to the presence of any WANTED SoNS. Slaying these beasts will not only result in a sizable monetary reward but also allow you to scavenge special crafting materials and items from their wrecks. You can check available bounties in the Wanted Info section of the data menu.

Reaping the Benefits

Turn the SoNS' devastating power against them with the parts left behind by slain bounties. These scraps could include rare upgrade materials, deadly weaponry, and occasionally an entirely new vehicle to add to your fleet!

Threat Level: High

There are over 30 of these monstrosities scattered around Dystokio waiting for the right hunter to come along and challenge them. However, don't be afraid if their overwhelming strength is too much for you, retreat is always a valid option when the stakes are high.

Sometimes you'll find a WANTED SoNS too challenging with your current set-up and will need to adopt a craftier way of bypassing the fight. Once you've upgraded your arsenal enough you can use the handy DOG travel system to head back and deal with any previous bounties you've encountered.

That's all for today, in our next post we'll be taking a look at how you can customize your vehicle weapon loadouts to create the ultimate fighting machine! Until then!
