METAL MAX Xeno Reborn changes
Time to suit up hunters!
The harsh wasteland of Dystokio is a dangerous place indeed. Only the bravest and strongest stand a chance of surviving. But humanity has had enough of simply surviving, it is time to take the fight to the deadly SoNS machines that roam what was once Tokyo Bay.
To combat these towering zoomorphic creatures, hunters will need to utilise mechanical monsters of their own...
Metal Max Xeno: Reborn is full of killer vehicles for the players to use against the SoNS. These vehicles are essential in travelling across the wasteland, and a range of powerful tanks and swift buggies are available. Let's take a look at some of the vehicles you'll be adding to your ever-expanding arsenal.
Tools of Destruction
MK10 - The first vehicle you'll requisition is the ever reliable MK10, a jack of all trades tank perfect for any fledgling hunter. The MK10 can be fitted with several high powered armaments including anti-infantry machine guns and special artillery devices such as anti-air missiles.
M-Buggy - In contrast to the great all-rounder MK10, the M-Buggy is a fast and nimble vehicle perfect for racing across the desert sands. M-Buggy is ideal for getting out of the range of potentially aggressive targets or just to get around quickly. The M-Buggy is a great choice if you're out scavenging, but might not last so long in a fight!
Growing Your Fleet
During your travels, you'll come across several other vehicles that are either in dire need of repair, gained as a quest reward or scavenged from the parts of an enemy SoNS. Each form of transport has a unique configuration of weapons, trait chips, and engines that make them particularly useful in certain combat roles. For example, the pacey M-Buggy is excellent for getting around quickly but can be easily overwhelmed when facing enemies head on.
Before long you'll be able to expand your garage after recruiting new party members to your cause. Once more companions have joined your party you'll be able to set them up in a vehicle of their own.
Hunters can utilise a maximum of three vehicles at a time, making them a match for even the strongest of foes. Make the most out of the extra firepower by positioning your vehicles in tactical positions to throw off the enemy and avoid any AOE attacks.
A Personal Touch
Not only can hunters upgrade and modify each vehicle's weaponry, chassis, and weight, but also customise their vehicle's paint schemes. Create your own war colors from a wide range of options!
Finally, humanity can start fighting back against the SoNS. Stay safe hunters!
