Meta Ghost: Breaking Show changes
[Combat]
Simon's Weapon Modification "Progressive Rifling": its bonus damage effect duration now lasts 10 seconds (previously 5 seconds).
Simon's Weapon Modification "Hybrid Rifling": its bonus attack speed effect duration now lasts 10 seconds (previously 5 seconds).
Yan's Weapon Modification "Photonic Synergy": its bonus effect duration now lasts 10 seconds (previously 5 seconds).
[System]
Added Right Stick functionality to the Filter and Auto-Dismantle screens for quick navigation between action areas.
[Bug Fixes]
Fixed an issue where the final strike of Jean’s Normal Attack combo mistakenly generated two Digiclones.
Fixed an issue where locking onto a monster with the Right Stick might fail to release the lock after the monster was killed.
Fixed an issue where the description text for Simon's "Hybrid Rifling" did not match its actual in-game effect. The skill actually grants Normal Attack Speed boost.
Removed the Invincible effect for "The Watcher" and "The Tetris" when casting certain skills.
Fixed controller operation interference between team invite interface and preparation interface.
Fixed wrong filtering result when selecting "Ultimate Energy recovery rate" of Chips/Memory, which previously displayed "Gain Likes on Killing" instead.
[Appendix: Resolving Missing Online Saves File Prior to EA Version 0.95 (January 21, 2026)] Note:
This method only applies to retrieving game records where the last played date was before January 21, 2026. If you have played the game after this date, please skip this guide.
Disable Steam Cloud Synchronization
Right-click the game in your Steam Library and select "Properties". Under the "General" tab, toggle off "Keep games saves in the Steam Cloud for Meta Ghost: Breaking Show".
Back Up and Remove the Newly Generated Saves
Launch the game. Click on the "Game Log" entry in the top-right corner of the screen to open the "mata ghost" folder. Locate the "data_0.sav" file, cut and paste it to a temporary location outside the game folders (e.g., your Desktop). Do not directly delete or overwrite it. Ensure the "mata ghost" folder no longer contains "data_0.sav".
Restart the Game
Relaunch the game. The system will automatically download your old online saves file from the server. (Note: If you did not play Online Mode prior to January 21, no saves file will be retrieved. Please check if this is the correct save you were looking for).
Back Up Your Local Saves
Access the "mata ghost" folder via the "Game Log" once more. Copy the newly generated "data_0.sav" file to another secure location as a backup. This prevents any accidental overwrites when re-enabling Cloud Sync later.
Close the Game and Re-enable Cloud Sync
Exit the game. Right-click the game in your Steam Library, open Properties, and turn Steam Cloud sync back on. Click "Play".
If Steam detects a cloud conflict, a prompt will appear stating that your local and cloud saves do not match. Check the timestamps carefully and select your latest local save to upload it to the cloud. Once completed, both your local game and Steam Cloud will be successfully synced to your old online saves file.
