Over the past few days, we’ve been carefully polishing the demo to make it more stable, more comfortable to play, and one step closer to the full version we have in mind. Since this update covers quite a few areas, we also spent some extra time testing it internally. Now the new version is ready, just in time for Steam Next Fest!

Here’s what’s included in this update:

New Additions

  • Added an introduction to the cat teaser toy in the tutorial, making it easier to understand how this interaction works

  • Added some new sound effects to make the room and cat interactions feel more lively More sound effects will be added over the next 1–2 days

  • Added save and load support for the Todo List

  • Added more tips to help players better understand the current version’s content and features

Improvements

  • Adjusted the tutorial guidance UI and related text

  • Improved the current UI layout and layering

  • Improved screen resolution adaptation, allowing the game to better support different aspect ratios and window sizes

  • Improved UI mask behavior so it works more consistently across different resolutions

  • Adjusted the game exit logic

  • Reworked the cat’s state logic, making its behavior transitions feel smoother

  • Adjusted the Pomodoro timer logic, so the cat can now interact with the player during break time

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where ground position detection could behave incorrectly when playing in fullscreen with a non-16:9 aspect ratio

  • Fixed several position-related conflicts that could occur when starting a new save file in a non-16:9 aspect ratio

  • Fixed display issues with components and background scenes under certain fullscreen resolutions and aspect ratios

  • Fixed a conflict that could happen when restarting the game during the tutorial

  • Fixed an issue where components could be loaded multiple times after restarting the game during the tutorial

  • Fixed a pathfinding error that could occur in edit mode when removing a component while the cat was in a behavior loop and standing on that component

  • Fixed an issue where the cat teaser toy could disappear under certain circumstances

  • Fixed an issue where the cat’s state was not synced in time, causing the walking animation to play repeatedly in place after sleeping
