Demo Update
We've released a new update for the Menes: The Chainbreaker demo, featuring improvements based on community feedback. This update focuses on the opening experience, combat, exploration, and overall polish.
NEW
The opening area has been redesigned. The green zone has been moved from the cave into the open world to provide a more natural introduction.
Added moving platforms to the tower, making platforming more dynamic.
Added a new flying system to the open world.
Added Feather collectibles throughout the open world.
Added a Training Dummy for practicing combat mechanics.
Added three difficulty modes:
Baby – Players receive only 25% of the normal incoming damage, offering a more accessible experience.
Normal – The intended gameplay experience.
One-Hit – Any hit is fatal, providing the ultimate challenge.
GAMEPLAY
Combat has received a complete overhaul and general polish.
Reworked the bridge section to create a more engaging traversal challenge.
Added a fire barrier to the Anubis encounter.
WORLD
Improved lighting across multiple areas.
Improved pergament placement throughout the world.
Rewritten several pergament texts to improve storytelling and readability.
POLISH
Improved overall game feel and player guidance.
Refined exploration flow throughout the demo.
Various visual, gameplay, and quality-of-life improvements.
