Today’s small patch brings a long-requested feature to Melted Valor along with several important gameplay adjustments designed to make the experience fairer, clearer, and more exciting.
Steam Achievement System Now Live
The Steam Achievement system has been rolled out! There will be more added - this was just to test the system and learn the process. I'll be on the lookout for any potential bugs with it, but during testing it worked successfully.
All achievements are integrated directly with Steam’s overlay. This has been a highly requested feature since launch, and I'm happy for players to finally start earning and displaying their victories.
All achievement images were hand-drawn as all the art in Melted Valor™.
Tan Campaign – Level 3: Civilian Evacuation Adjustments
Tan Level 3 has been rebalanced to improve pacing and reduce unintentional difficulty spikes.
Changes include:
Adjusted enemy spawn timing for smoother combat flow
Improved clarity on threat movement so players can react more consistently
Minor tuning on enemy health and accuracy to reduce unfair bursts
The goal was not to make the level easier — just more readable and enjoyable while keeping the intensity intact.
Also, the Tan rocket launcher has been added to the level to support players during large enemy pushes and to enhance explosive gameplay variety.
This weapon is placed in a way that rewards exploration and smart timing. Use it wisely.
