Melted Valor™ — Holiday Content Update & Patch Notes
Merry Christmas!
This update is a full free expansion built from the ground up as a thank-you to every player who has supported Melted Valor with your time, your enthusiasm, and your incredibly motivating reviews. Your positivity pushed this one over the finish line. Enjoy this Christmas gift.
New Free Campaign – “Sword of Dominion”
Experience Melted Valor from an entirely new angle as you step into the boots of the Tan Army.
See the world through the eyes of a faction pushed to the brink — desperate, angry, and fighting to survive.
Includes:
All-new missions
A full narrative arc from the Tan perspective
New cutscenes, objectives, and environments
New Enemies
We’ve expanded the battlefield with hostile units unique to the Tan campaign:
Suicide Bomber Teddy Bears – soft, fuzzy, and extremely volatile
Green Grenadiers – long-range grenade launcher specialists who will keep you moving
New Weapons
Arm yourself with fresh firepower from both factions:
Tan Minigun – shred through waves of Greens
Tan Rocket Launcher – for when overkill is perfectly reasonable
Green Grenade Launcher – a long-requested explosive addition
New Collectible System — “Spoils of War”
Discover hand-drawn collectible art pieces hidden throughout missions.
Unlocked artworks can be viewed anytime in the new Spoils of War section of the main menu.
Collect them all to piece together deeper lore and behind-the-scenes sketches.

About Player Feature Requests
In our previous update, we promised to explore community suggestions such as third-person mode, vehicle segments, and an arachnophobia setting.
We did explore them — deeply.
But each of these features introduced game-breaking issues and failed to meet the standards of stability and consistency the game deserves. They were fun experiments, and they may return one day, but for now Melted Valor will remain a focused, classic FPS experience.
Thank you for the ideas — please keep them coming. When I say I try to implement them, you can count on me to actually try (even if that means destroying somewhere between 5-30 files of the game and having to go to a backup... which is exactly what happened haha).
Steam post image A Message to the Community
From the bottom of my heart: thank you. You materialized this expansion.
Your reviews, comments, gameplay clips, and messages are what kept this project moving. The positivity gave me the push to create and release this entire free campaign. Melted Valor exists because of you — and it continues to hammer forward because of you. This game won't win awards, and it isn't geared for those who expect perfection, in fact every piece of advertisement lists it as an indie solo dev project from a first responder who isn't even a professional game designer, but it has connected to people who appreciate the classics and that is a victory for us in an age where major companies abandon amazing IP's in pursuit of lifeless, quick cash grabs.
Here’s to more missions, more mayhem, and more toy-box heroism.
Merry Christmas, Greens and Tans — and thank you for being part of this ride.
