Something Big Is Coming to Your Warehouse

Hey everyone, I wanted to share a quick update on what has been happening behind the scenes. As many of you know, Megastore Simulator usually does not go more than 10 days without an update.

Repeated intro

Hey everyone,

What changed

0 fixes3 additions2 changes1 removal
  • Gameplay
  • Balance
  • Store
removedFor this update, I spent a lot of time analyzing and researching how these operations work in real life. After that, I focused on removing the parts that would feel too slow or repetitive, then turned the core idea into a gameplay system that fits Megastore Simulator. Since then, I have been fine-tuning, balancing, and polishing the design so I can bring it to you in the best possible state.
addedThis update will include new systems for product spoilage, different spoilage behavior for different product types, temperature-based storage requirements, and products taking damage when they are not stored under the right conditions. It is a major step toward making store operations feel deeper, more realistic, and more scalable. It also adds a nice new management layer to the game. I do not want to spoil too much yet.
addedAlongside Cold Storage, the update will also bring several important quality-of-life improvements, new tools, improvements, and possibly a few surprises.
addedAnd here is a small tip for those already thinking about warehouse space: your warehouses will be expanded without requiring any extra purchase. So do not worry, I promise you will have enough space for the new additions. :)
changedI have also already planned the next content update, which will arrive after the May 27 update and before the Butchery update. As a small early spoiler, it will include a segway that will let you move through your store aisles faster and inspect your store more easily, along with some additional content.
changedI also want to keep thanking you whenever I get the chance, because your support throughout Early Access has been incredible. Your feedback, patience, suggestions, and encouragement have helped shape Megastore Simulator into something much bigger than I first imagined.

I wanted to share a quick update on what has been happening behind the scenes.

As many of you know, Megastore Simulator usually does not go more than 10 days without an update. This time, however, I have been working on a much larger system, and I wanted to take the extra time to prepare it properly.

For this update, I spent a lot of time analyzing and researching how these operations work in real life. After that, I focused on removing the parts that would feel too slow or repetitive, then turned the core idea into a gameplay system that fits Megastore Simulator. Since then, I have been fine-tuning, balancing, and polishing the design so I can bring it to you in the best possible state.

The next major update is planned for Wednesday, May 27, and it will introduce the Cold Storage system, implemented as close to real-life operations as possible while still keeping it fun to play.

I do not want to share every detail yet, because I want to keep some things as a surprise for the update itself. But we are getting very close, and I am excited to finally share it with you.

I have also already planned the next content update, which will arrive after the May 27 update and before the Butchery update. As a small early spoiler, it will include a segway that will let you move through your store aisles faster and inspect your store more easily, along with some additional content.

I wanted to share this image as an early look at what is coming next. I am also sure that once co-op arrives, tools like the megaphone, the Segway, and similar fun additions will multiply the chaos and enjoyment, and I honestly cannot wait to see those days.

I also want to keep thanking you whenever I get the chance, because your support throughout Early Access has been incredible. Your feedback, patience, suggestions, and encouragement have helped shape Megastore Simulator into something much bigger than I first imagined.

This is only one step forward. I will keep working on bigger, better, and more polished updates all the way to the full release, without slowing down.

Thank you so much for your patience and support.

See you on Wednesday!
