Welcome back to Matergari, adventurers! In this devlog post we will share some details about Weapons and Skimirsh combat mechanic. Skirmish In Matergari, melee combat between hostile characters is referred as Skirmish.

changedSkirmishIn Matergari, melee combat between hostile characters is referred as Skirmish . Skirmish is automated and there's no need for the player to click or press buttons: hits will occur periodically with their frequency and damage altered by Weapon choice and character's attributes.
changedWeaponsUnlike Armor and Accessories , this category of items do not come with any attribute but sports various modifiers that are meant to define a character's Skirmish attack and it's up to the players to choose the combination that better suits their style. Ranging from - to name a few - Cleave (damage is dealt in a small area), to Pierce (ignores a portion of Armor) and Bleed (bonus damage over time) each has its utility when dealing with many enemies or just one opponent.
