MATCHO changes
After years of building MATCHO, we’re finally putting a real playable piece of it into your hands. The MATCHO Demo is coming to Steam Next Fest 2026 (February Edition) and yes, full release is getting close as well.
We don’t have an exact launch date to share yet. This demo exists because we want your feedback before we hit release.
This is also not a made-for-marketing slice. It’s a real story mission from the full game, with the same pacing, combat, movement, and puzzle flow we’ve designed MATCHO around from day one.
You’ll play as Max on his first mission near Laguna Ik, investigate a strange signal, and fight alien bugs using our core combat loop:
Tag targets. Build chains. Execute combos.
Inside the demo:
1 full story mission from the main game
Real-time Match-3 FPS combat
Wall running, double jump, jump pads, energy grappling hook
Exploration with collectibles, dialogues, puzzles, and combat in one run
Expect around 40–60 minutes of gameplay
As a team, we care a lot about feedback at this stage. So if you play the demo, tell us what worked, what didn’t, and what you want more of - we’ll be reading everything.
If you want to support us before Next Fest starts, wishlist MATCHO on Steam. It helps more than people think.
Thank you for being here.
On behalf of the whole FiolaSoft Studio team,
— Filip Kraucher, Producer
