Master of Command changes
Happy New Year! We're back to work and have our first patch ready for the year. There are a few localization updates, along with some visual updates in the town, doctrine fixes, cavalry fixes and more described below.
LOCALIZATION CHANGES
All languages were updated
Visual update in the starting menus, allowing the text to properly fit in its text boxes for each language
Fixed some of the descriptions for weapons like the jonkoping musket, potzdam carbine, tula carbine, charlevile carbine. Just some brackets were wrong.
GAMEPLAY CHANGES
When cavalry retreats, we fixed the visual glitch which now removes hats and weapons from the battlefield. These items used to stay on the baottlefield after the cavalry would disappear
Re-roll exploit for officer upgrades fixed - The player is no longer able to purchase a re-roll, close and open to have the same cost
Issue with how the doctrines were appearing on Infinite mode fixed
Upgrade tree button fixed to avoid multiple presses of the same button at the same time which removed upgrade points from the player
Fixed an exploit that would prevent infinite grenades
Changed movement penalty on rivers on the campaign map from -60% movement to -50%
Changed movement penalty for forests on the campaign map from -30% to -25%
Fixed an issue where the "foreign" army template (armies that consists of lots of auxiliary troops) weren't appearing in Act 3 field armies
Improved army generation so that "foreign" units (like hungarian or grenzer for Austria) are less common in the regular armies. This is because in the previous update we added new army types that were entirely comprised of the foreign units. So in order to make those more distinct I've very slightly reduced the weight of the foreign units in the regular armies.
Fixed a bug where the Observation Battalion Artillery wasn't starting with basic canister shot by default
Fixed a bug with Russian provincial cavalry counting as heavy cavalry
Fixed a bug with Hessian grenadier unit that made their sprint speed the same speed as their walk speed
Fixed the "Lorraine Guard" French renowned unit's default flag
DOCTRINE CHANGES
Soldier Kings Legacy doctrine fixed - Every unit was receiving combat effectiveness instead of just the heavy infantry
MISC CHANGES
Cossack Achievement fixed - New Russian Cossack units that were previously added can now work with the achievement
Saxon Achievement fixed - It used to trigger for any composition you would play as with the HRE
Visual update with the Quartermaster building, the ground was fixed to fit under the building
MODDING CHANGES
Some map editor fixes, there was a chance when using the map editor that an invisible playable zone was being created which would break the map entirely when loaded
SUPPORTER EDITION
A lot of the aforementioned updates in the changelogs weren't going through but we've updated it now so that the supporter edition should contain all the new music/art.
