Hi, Gamers!

Masks of the Void: Origins is about to be launched in Early Access, and we eagerly await your feedback about the product!
While we wait, we would like to continue explaining and sharing details on its creation with you, this time with some more details about the narrative.
Inside the Development Process
In our last devlog, we teased Iret, our main character, hard at work in her lab. When we designed her story, we envisioned Iret as a very grounded, everyday person, who was maybe a bit too consumed by her work.
🔹 Iret is a young woman in her 20s. She is dressed in an advanced scientific suit, with a cloak that often hides her face (and her Mask). She was someone happier lurking in the shadows, in the background, but always ready to help her adopted father with anything that needed to be done. She is someone who believes deeply in the power of others, but doesn't quite believe in herself—at least, not at the beginning of the game.
🔹 She took care of the old man while he slaved away studying late into the night. Driven by her desire to help, she volunteered for the dangerous mission to explore the Vortex when the chance arose.
And then, she receives the power of the Mask when she least expects it. It's an unexpected moment, a power completely unknown to her, and one she'll have to learn to wield.
You are Iret. Will you be able to master this immense power? Will you uncover all its facets and choose how to use it? Tell us how you would face this challenge and what strategy you'd decide to use!
Sneak Peek of Upcoming Content
The Nexus, this is the fundamental discovery made by Dr. Herdesett and the technological miracle that lets Iret travel and enter the Vortex. It is located underneath the Laboratory.
This is a marvel of science and magic in which a temporary portal - or Rift - can be opened. but so far, it has been untested.
What will happen when Iret uses it? Will it work? Where will he be able to go?
