Hi, Gamers!

RolldBox Games development team Today with Ferran, one of our Co-Founders, as well as the Game Designer and Creative Director of the studio at RolldBox Games 👋 sharing the first information about patch notes after the full launch.

First of all, we want to thank our community for the feedback provided through the different existing channels about Masks of the Void:Origins experience!

Based on that we have implemented some adjustments during these days and we want to share the list with you!

At current version of the game [V: 1.0.1.5628] the topics addressed are:

🔹Fixes:

  • “Hardmode” UI now works properly with more than 10 modifiers.

  • Blood mask got limited the max controlled throwables to 20.

  • Falling in all void levels now properly teleports the player.

  • Getting stuck in Vortex 2 & 3 (no more spots were found during tests)

  • Players could reach max XP and be unable to level up. If that ever happens, pressing ESC will open the level up menu.

  • “End Run” UI had a focus issue with controllers.

  • Protected entering new maps by disabling Skills on transitions.

  • Added a validation on teleports over the whole game.

  • Graphic settings now properly load screen resolutions.

  • Graphic visual bug on FPS limit fixed.

  • Fixed UI issue with Menus on 16:10 - NPCs hiding options on Steam Deck: Archive, level up, forgery.

  • Fixed issue with Blood Mask defensive related to Ray attacks from all sources

  • Fixed anomaly on Void Realm not having an exit to the Cathedral

  • Neverending Night becomes immune at the end of the encounter when no pact has been made.

🔹Balancing

  • Balanced Neverending Night feather spawn rates, increasing the amount of feathers available through the encounter considerably.

  • Balanced Neverending Night feather damage.

  • Balanced Neverending Night radial feather skill to be more stable and generate more reliable safe spots.

  • Balanced Dark Iret to also use objects from the environment.

🔹Improvements

  • Summoning Book UI updated for descriptions.

  • Mask Popups loading Videos issue in specific devices.

  • Added an “unstuck me” option on the Pause menu. Take care, it will deal you damage as if you fell down, it is not intended to be used constantly!

  • The game will ask if you want us to check your device for the best configuration only once. You can always change all these settings normally.
