We made a video all about this topic, in the hopes of explaining how and why an Indie studio might take on the task of making an IP-based game in the first place.

The Mars Attacks IP has helped us develop our game in so many ways, from inspiring our retro-futuristic art style to giving us suggestions for gruesome and gory ways to torment your humans.
