changedWe have been hard at work implementing the online multiplayer and integrating matchmaking into Mansion At Midnight over the last few weeks. Don began with testing the main multiplayer gameplay in a LAN environment, and then over the weekend he began plugging in the Steam matchmaking code to make an easy-to-use interface for players. There are a lot of kinks to work out, but the bare bones of matchmaking through Steam have been implemented and is moving into to testing.
changedWe will be reaching out to testers and influencers soon for help in testing in a closed beta in an attempt to iron out some major bugs with the Steam online matchmaking. However, we have been working in an attempt to have the game out in Early Access in time for Halloween, and from our current position it is likely Mansion At Midnight will be available no sooner than October 30th, 2024. We will likely release the game at 10am PST, but it is best to keep an eye on our social media for alerts, and watch our Steam page here for notifications.
addedAnother exciting feature we have been working on is adding all of the dialog and voice lines to the game. This could not be possible without the help of our community, and we wanted to take this time to acknowledge and thank the individuals who volunteered their voice to the game!
