This update (version 1.3) includes 18 new cards, and numerous tweaks to the existing ones.
A few examples:
The 'Legionary' who can push other creatures away (perhaps to their doom?)
A 'Paratrooper' who can spawn anywhere on the board.
Several new useful buildings, and a card to help keep them safe.
One more card to help plant based decks.
A new medallion.
Two new "Legendary" (limit 1 per deck) creatures.
A very efficient aggro creature, but it will cost you something else...
Many of the old cards have gotten their mana costs adjusted, usually by adding more color requirements. This is to avoid too many "good stuff" decks that play a four colors, since it's often easy to get access to a few random hexes during the course of a game. Reliably getting two or three of each color is much harder... so design your decks accordingly.
There's also a bunch of bug fixes and general improvements, here are the most important ones:
The map generation for 3- and 4-player games has been tweaked to make hexes a bit easier to access and not accidentally lock one player out of the game.
Lots of clarifications on card abilities to increase confidence when using them.
The cost of activated abilities is presented more clearly in the UI.
Prevent AI from crashing in certain situations.
Proper cleanup of controlled hexes and units when a player resigns.
Elo calculations in multiplayer games is more fair (losing used to lower your rank too much).
Thanks a lot to everyone who has played the game, all of these changes are a response to your feedback! Keep it coming, and see you on the battlefield :)
