addedThe new version of Manahex has two major features:
addedA new mage abilityAll mages now have an ability called "Redeem", which lets you discard a card to draw a new one. This also costs an action, so you can't do it on the same turn that you're taking control of a hex. The idea with the ability is that it lets you put more narrow "silver bullet" cards into your deck without taking to much of a risk. If the card isn't good in the particular matchup you're playing, just throw it away and get a new one. The ability also gives you something productive to do if you're locked out of new hexes to control. In general I hope it will increase the strategic depth of the game even more. Thanks to my friend Ossian for this idea!
addedAI botThere's now a simple AI that you can practice against (1v1) instead of playing online. It's definitely not playing at the level of the top Manahex players, but if you're new to the game it might give you a bit of a challenge, I hope! I've marked the bot as "beta" for now. The long term plan is to add a proper single player campaign, where the bot will be configured with different play styles and special decks. That will take a while longer though...
