Mall Manager Simulator — Update 1.0.9 Our biggest update yet: a brand-new engine under the hood, a new employee to hire, shoppers that finally behave — and a mountain of fixes pulled straight from YOUR reports Rebuilt on Unity 6 The entire game has been migrated to Unity 6 (URP 17) for better performance and long-term stability. Optimized NPC logic and movement — smoother crowds, fewer hitches. Baked the static mall lighting and tuned rendering — noticeably \lower GPU load and while you play. New Staff: Shop Restocker Hire a Restocker who physically carries delivered boxes from the warehouse to your shelves and stocks them for you — up to 3 per shop during the rush. When they have no work, restockers now wait tidily in the warehouse instead of blocking the aisles. Customers That Actually Shop Fixed shoppers crowding a single shelf, standing inside each other, and never picking anything up. Customers now spread out, grab products correctly, and the pick-up animation is back. Vending Machines Fixed machines that earned nothing and trapped customers — they now sell and pay out properly. The purchase price is now shown right on the machine (in the world AND on the buy panel), not only on the tablet. Rebalanced restock cost for a fairer profit margin. Restrooms Toilet income is now based on actual usage — busy restrooms earn more, neglected ones earn nothing. No more free money from an unused stall. Smoother Progression Rebalanced product unlocks so you get a steady stream of new items every single level, all the way to level 40 — no more dead stretches with nothing new to chase. Major Bug Fixes Fixed save corruption, money desync, and a stuck quest target. Fixed invisible tablet / held items. Fixed boxes disappearing on load. Fixed auto-restock filling shelves with the wrong product. Fixed the "View owned card in card album" quest never completing. Fixed end-of-day statistics (profit, day-over-day change, index). Fixed the elevator launching / clipping the player. Fixed the scooter clipping through walls. Fixed exceptions when catching a thief. Fixed cashier, security, camera and cleaning issues. Fixed magenta placeholder boxes in the warehouse. Fixed missing NPC animations (sinking / T-posing characters). Polish & Cleanup Removed leftover Christmas decorations. Removed the publisher button from the main menu. Trimmed unused mobile/ad code for a leaner, faster build. Thank you for playing — and for every bug report and suggestion. A huge part of this update came directly from your feedback. Keep it coming, and tell us what you want to see next!
