The Maledictum Demo is coming in February 2026!

If you haven’t already, please wishlist Maledictum and follow the store page. Steam will notify you the moment the demo goes live, and it genuinely helps us reach more players before release.

What’s included in the Demo (February 2026)

In the demo, you’ll be able to jump into the core Maledictum experience and get a real feel for the investigation loop.

You’ll get access to:

  • 1 playable map

  • A handful of stories/cases to try and solve

  • Full Co-op support (team up and investigate together)

  • Basic cosmetic items available in the demo

This demo is meant to be a focused first taste: learn the tools, feel the tension, and see how the cases unfold.

What’s coming in the Full Game at launch

The full release will expand the experience significantly.

At launch, the full game will include:

  • 5 maps ( Horror Mansion, Mental Hospital, Prison, Old Abandoned House )

  • 50 stories/cases

  • More ways to customize your experience, including cosmetics earned through progression, in-game currency, and more

A bigger feature coming after release

After launch, you’ll also be able to build your own house and decorate it — a personal space you can customize and show off.

And we’re not stopping there: new maps will be added after release, but the base game will already launch with the 5 maps mentioned above.

We’d love your feedback during the Demo

When the demo drops, we’ll be collecting feedback on:

  • Investigation clarity (what feels confusing, what feels great)

  • Difficulty and pacing

  • Co-op experience and performance

  • Bugs, UI issues, and quality-of-life suggestions

You can share feedback via Steam Discussions and our Discord (linked on the store page).

Thank you for supporting Maledictum. Wishlisting and following is the best way to help before the demo goes live. See you in February 2026.
