Magi Scapes changes
Hero-sama,
Thank you so much for joining this test and helping us make the game better! As we mentioned earlier, this round of testing will be temporarily closed on September 5th at 18:00 (UTC+8).
During this period, we discovered many issues and also received a lot of valuable feedback from you. Moving forward, our development focus will be on:
Compatibility Across More Systems
This test made us realize how important it is to optimize and support a wider range of hardware configurations. This will be our top priority in the next stage.
Improved Lighting and Shadow Effects
Our current solution for lighting and shadows is still in its early stages. We will spend more time refining this system and experimenting with better approaches.
AI Companion NPCs
We will work on unifying the generated NPC companions’ portraits, facial expressions, and character sprites with their generated backstories.
Steam post imageIn addition, the way NPCs generate quests will be adjusted, with more interaction methods added.
Narrative Experience Enhancements
Our goal is to bring you and your created characters into a vibrant, living world, where they feel truly alive.

More Content
We noticed that some of you built incredibly beautiful camps during the test!

That inspired us to add more monsters, weapons, items, and objects to enrich the sandbox experience. Steam post image
(Here’s a new desert plant we’ve been working on — the Baobab tree!)
How did you feel about this test? The “Magi Scapes Suggestion List” remains open — feel free to share your expectations and suggestions there anytime! See you soon!
