Mad Chess changes
General
Lots of new options toggles: move method, pre-moves, objective display, draw by claim, unit highlight color
Fifteen new steam achievements (for now a total of 40) (all of them still connected to adventure/versus)
Five new chessboards (castle, coral, grave, textile, tournament) that can be bought in the shop and 2 special boards (rainbow & shield) that are unlockable (one by beating level 51, the other by just opening the Political Shield menu)
Slight AI rework (opening variations, rooks more likely to engage in the mid-game, etc.)
Various bug fixes (Yeti queen does not capture all objects anymore, replay scene king check fixed, good avatars on multiplayer player winning on time, etc.)
Adventure
New optional objective mechanic added to all levels (a rotation of 25 optional objectives that makes the level harder to complete and provide +100 gold when completing a level) (the most common new objective is to capture a neutral building that randomly spawns enemy units, such as a Hive that spawns 4 bees).
Addition of 25 new adventure units (neutral buildings, spawning buildings, enemy units) (many of which are connected to the optional objectives)
Most levels were revised to add some terrain variation and/or have been adapted to fit their optional objectives
A mysterious rainbow spaceship now appears randomly on the map, this level 51 allows you to customize the level to make it a challenge or simply impossible
Versus
New customization mode: allows you to customize your starting 16 squares by putting any pawn/knight/bishop/rook/queen/nothing from your faction to play
Shop
Added 5 chessboards to buy
Added the orbital tracker to unlock level 51 (this option only unlock after beating level 40)
Additional lines of dialogue from Wade the blacksmith
Multiplayer
You can now create a game and choose to play as white, black or random (white or black)
You can now create a game to allow Customization
Replay
Once a game is pasted, random faction music will start to play instead of always playing the analysis theme.
Balance
Buff to Goblins: rook + bishop + queen now range 4 instead of 3; 10 checks instead of 12 for checkmates

What is coming next
Now that all the main content for the game is here for 1.0, the focus can be factions balance + bug fixes + AI tweaks
Some other small features (take-back in a multiplayer game, fantasy sound options for units, etc.)
NEXT PATCH; the shop prices will be updated to what they need to be for the real game, so all beta testers please buy all the things you need from the shop before the real prices are increased to reflect real game progression (new players won't be able to unlock all factions for 1 gold).
