Balance

Stockpile

  • The Stockpile Location has received an update. Now the Location contains 10 chests with various cards. Match 2 to add it to your deck! Good luck!

Art

  • As promised, AI art is beginning to be removed completely. The next few updates after this will focus purely on art and any identified bugs.

    • Removed AI art from all Royal cards.

    • Removed AI art from all Location cards.

    • Removed AI art from all Menus.

    • Removed AI art from all Steam Achievements.

    • Removed AI art from Scoreboard and Level End menus.

    • Updated all Quest images to match new Steam Achievement art.

Audio

  • New Ambush track that plays during an Ambush

Fixes & Tweaks

  • The Main Menu got a thematic update! It's fun now!

  • New splash screen. It's fun now!

  • Refreshed Credits scene. It's fun now!

  • Selecting a card is now move visually prominent.

  • Updated the font on all Royal cards to better reflect their personality.

  • Cleaned up ordering of the Banishing animation for enemies so that it's clearer what is happening.

  • Updated Visuals on Enemy Captains to ensure the right information was made prominent.

  • Refreshed Guidebook information in order to simplify and correct information.

  • Updated Unresearched card coloring to be more inline with the games color language.

  • Updated names of all districts to better SUIT the games new enemy aesthetic. ;)

  • Updated Quest Rewards panel visuals.

  • Updated the District Rewards visuals.

  • Removed Battle Log entirely as this was not well implemented and was not displaying reliable data.

  • Removed low-informative data from Pause Menu.

  • Removed light mode menus for quality control.

  • Added 5 Secret Rare cards brining the total to 8.

  • Tweaked Training Dummies so that they do not increase in damage.

  • Tweaked Walls enemies so that Points. cannot be attained from attacking them.

  • Fixed an issue where 720p resolution was set to 1920x720 and not 1280x720.

  • Fixed an issue where a player should lose all of their Coins at the start of a new Battle.

  • Fixed an issue where quests that would increase drop rates were not properly increasing drop rates.

  • Fixed an issue where a few weapons were double listed in the players save file, causing the weapons to relock occasionally.

  • Fixed an issue where discounts on purchasing cards from a Discard pile weren't properly applied

  • Fixed an issue where the Elective status would not raise max hearth but would still attempt to triple it

  • Fixed an issue where Healing attacks would deal damage to a chained target instead of carrying the heal forward.

  • Fixed an issue where Poison could effect cards in your Hand

  • Fixed an issue where, if a card was Banished by a retaliation from an Enemy Captain with the Analog status, the Attacked card would not always be Banished properly.

  • Fixed an issue where a card with the Burning status could not be damaged.

  • Fixed an issue where the Ace, Baron, and Squire passives would be granted to cards that were not Attacking.

  • Fixed an issue where Xecutioner's passive would not trigger if the Targeted Enemy had exactly 10 Health.

  • Fixed an issue that would cause Secret Rares to not be properly filtered out of the Stockpile rewards.

Save Management

EXISTING SAVE FILES WILL NOT work with this version. As with all PRERELEASE versions, on launch, the game will validate your save file and switch you to a fresh file if your save file is out of date.
